From the wreckage of the South, DEAD CITY has emerged as a new force in metallic hardcore. Conjuring their sound from what many consider to be a bygone era, DEAD CITY forge a seamless amalgamation of their influences while leaving a footprint on the genre that is purely their own. Turning a blind eye to the vapid trends of the current hardcore and metal community, this Little Rock and Memphis based band muse instead upon the bleakness and desolation of their locale. Simultaneously defeated and belligerent, DEAD CITY is the sound of a confrontation with life’s absurdity, the voice of those whose daily existence is a prolonged gaze into the void.
